There are basically two kinds: trailerable pontoon boat covers and non-trailerable pontoon boat covers.
Trailerable pontoon boat covers

Non-trailerable pontoon boat covers
Non-trailerable pontoon boat covers are like the one shown in the picture at the top of this page. These pontoon boat covers are meant to remain stationary. The pontoon boat is parked beneath the cover to keep it out of the weather.
